Hello Golden Goddess friend!
Over the last 10 years, I’ve had my butt kicked. Sure, all first world problems.
We all have different struggles in life. One of my biggest struggles is fear.
Fear of losing my livelihood, losing my profession, losing my home, losing my income, losing my ability to earn income, losing my marriage.
My thing is fear, but for some people it’s anger, or it’s jealousy, envy, or for some it’s sadness and depression.
What happens when I go into that fearful place? What do I do?
It’s so simple: We change our attention.
How do we do that? You still have to feel the feels. But there’s a difference between allowing a feeling to feel and going around and around and around.
When walking my dog instead of allowing myself to be bogged down by anger, fear, and worry, I listen to audio books. One of my favourites that I listen to over and over and over again is called The Complete Works of Florence Skovel Shinn. Whenever I’d listen to this, it would be hard to hold on to my rotten thoughts because it made me so hopeful.
Even though I have those dark thoughts, I know it’s going to work.
The less I fear and the more I tap into the divine frequency of gratitude and knowing and surrendering to the divine, and changing my attention to the good, the better it’s going to be.
